OUR HISTORY
Rohan & Peter have been in the not-for-profit, property development and community housing sector for almost 20 years. 4 years ago, with Kingdom Modular they set out to bring modular "Affordable Housing" to the market, at very competive prices. They have seen first hand the need for housing, desperately short of supply for those that are being forced out of the market due to the increasing rental costs and aims to put affordable rentals in reach for those most in need.

OUR BACKGROUND
Kingdom Modular was created in 2022 after several years of research by individuals passionate about supporting vulnerable people seeking secure and affordable accommodation. We have partnered with a Chinese modular home manufacturer with global experience .
All homes are built to Australian standards and fully National Construction Code, and Silver Standard compliant with competitive pricing and high-quality materials and finishes.
Our purpose is to provide purpose built, competitively priced, affordable modular homes that are well-designed, durable, energy-efficient, and delivered turnkey at an all-inclusive price.
Note: Our offer is for "affordable homes" that must be managed by a Community Housing Provider (we can arrange a CHP) and rented at “Affordable Rents” that is at 75% to 80% of median rents in the area. While we can provide homes to the open market, the selling prices are higher if they are not rented at “affordable rents”.
THE CHALLENGE
Australia is facing a significant crisis in housing affordability. Over the past 5 years, national rental prices have increased by 43.9%, and many families, older Australians and vulnerable people are struggling to secure stable and affordable accommodation.
Community organisations, “Faith” and community housing providers, and local councils are looking for practical solutions that can be delivered quickly, responsibly and most importantly at competitive pricing.
Kingdom Modular exists to meet this need by providing AFFORDABLE, safe and turnkey modular homes that give people in need a secure place to live.
Affordable homes for key workers and those most in need, offered at affordable rents.
Kingdom Modular - what we provide
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We supply purpose-built modular homes (flat-packed) delivered nationally and installed within 10 days, once on site. Our homes are turnkey, safe, secure, energy-efficient, and fully compliant with the Australian National Construction Code (Silver Standard) and the Modern Slavery Act 2018.

Meet the executive team
ROHAN MCDONALD - Founding Director & Construction and Development
Rohan owns and manages companies that provide building inspections and property maintenance. He has held senior roles overseeing facilities, assets and development management for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland and Newcastle and the Salvation Army. His experience includes building inspections, project management, financial management, and oversight of more than one thousand-six hundred sites.
PETER ALWARD - Founding Director & CEO
Peter has more than thirty-five years of experience in property development, construction, planning, and asset management across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. He has held senior executive roles with the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and the Salvation Army and has served on commercial and government boards, CHP's and NFP's. He has managed large property portfolios valued at up to five billion dollars.
